Delete Your Data

Engagent

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Engagent on your device.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Your data is erased immediately.

If you only want to unlink Instagram but keep your account, use Settings → Disconnect Instagram instead. That revokes Engagent's access to your Instagram account without deleting your Engagent account.

Option 2 — Remove Engagent from Instagram

In the Instagram app, go to Settings → Apps and websites, then remove Engagent. Instagram notifies us automatically and your data is deleted without any further action from you.

Option 3 — Email request

Email nalhamzy@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my Engagent data". Include your Instagram handle so we can locate the account. We action requests within 30 days, and in practice within a few business days.

What gets deleted

• Your Instagram connection and stored access token
• All synced posts, comments and their AI classifications
• Reply drafts, approvals queue and the activity log
• Your Business Brain (business details, FAQs, voice settings) and automation rules
• Leads, notes and weekly reports
• Your Engagent account record

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Nothing is retained after the deletion completes, except where we are legally required to keep limited records.

What Engagent never stores

Engagent does not store your Instagram password. Access is granted through Instagram's official OAuth flow and can be revoked by you at any time from Instagram's settings.
